Terms of Service

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging The Weekend Web ("we," "us," or "our") for web development services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

The Weekend Web provides web development services including but not limited to:

  • Custom website design and development
  • Mobile-responsive web design
  • E-commerce website development
  • Website maintenance and management
  • SEO optimization
  • Content management system integration

3. Pricing and Payment

Projects are billed as a one-time fee based on a custom quote provided after our initial consultation. Payment terms (such as a deposit and a final payment on completion) will be agreed upon before work begins. We accept payment via major credit cards through our secure payment processor.

4. Failed or Outstanding Payments

If a payment is declined or an invoice goes unpaid past its due date, we will attempt to collect the outstanding balance. Work may be paused, and final delivery or code handover withheld, until the balance is resolved. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking any such action.

5. Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimated and depend on project scope, complexity, and timely provision of content and feedback from the Client. Delays caused by the Client may extend the project timeline. We will communicate any significant timeline changes as they arise.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary content (text, images, logos) in a timely manner
  • Respond to communications and provide feedback within reasonable timeframes
  • Ensure all provided content does not infringe on third-party rights
  • Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule

7. Intellectual Property and Code Ownership

Full ownership of the website code and assets transfers to the Client upon final payment. We will provide a complete handover of all code, files, and assets at that time, and the Client is free to host it anywhere. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any third-party resources (fonts, images, plugins) remain subject to their respective licenses.

8. Revisions and Changes

Our quotes include a reasonable number of revisions during the design phase. Major changes to project scope after work has begun may incur additional charges. We will discuss any additional costs with you before proceeding.

9. Website Hosting and Domain

We handle initial hosting setup, security, and deployment as part of your project. Domain registration may be managed by us or transferred to you — this will be agreed upon at project start. Since you own the code outright after final payment, you're free to self-host or migrate to any provider you choose.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Weekend Web shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in question.

11. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may cancel a project before completion; any work performed up to that point is billed at the agreed rate, and a refund of unearned fees (if any) will be issued. We reserve the right to pause or terminate services for non-payment or breach of these terms.

12. Warranty and Support

Every project includes a period of post-launch support at no extra charge (see your project quote for specifics), covering bug fixes related to our work. Additional changes or ongoing maintenance after that period are billed hourly or as a custom quote.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
